HASBRO
Conveniently located near the Fuzion studio, Hasbro is one of the largest toy makers in the world and a leader in toy and game development. Over the years, Fuzion has developed a close knit relationship with the ever-growing company, joining forces to provide solutions on all stages of projects across an array of brands such as: Jenga, Connect 4, Nerf, Easy Bake Oven, Marvel, My Little Pony, Play-Doh, Sesame Street, Transformers, Simon Swipe, Playskool, etc. As the toy industry is fast-paced and eternally changing, Hasbro reaches out to us to lend a hand in developing new and innovative concepts in areas of product ideation and development, engineering, and branding efforts including graphics and packaging.
JENGA
The Games Team approached Fuzion looking for a hand in developing a new Jenga product, Jenga Fuse (later changed to Jenga Boom). We designed the product’s aesthetic along with a fully functioning mechanism that worked like the actual product to test the game’s pull-string timer feature. In efforts to create a consistent brand look, we also created a logo and packaging concepts that suitably fit the aesthetic of the product and the targeted age group with elements that gave this version of Jenga a dynamic, action-packed vibe. Due to the huge success of Jenga Boom Fuzion helped develop another sister product, Jenga Quake. Not only did Fuzion help develop the product but were also called upon to generate packaging concepts. We designed an exciting packaging look, complete with creating our own life-like illustration of lava breaking through rock paired with instructions in a retro, 1960’s advertising feel that was inspired by old aircraft safety instructions, making this version of Jenga uniquely stand out.
KRE-O TRANSFORMERS
Hasbro had also partnered with Fuzion to help launch their new Transformer-branded line of construction toys, called KRE-O. Working closely with their in-house designers, we developed a full set of CAD renderings for each of the pieces. Using those pieces, we then designed an extensive step-by-step instruction booklet, with clean and organized layouts to help guide kids in making their KRE-O Transformers come to life!
CONNECT 4
After a drop in sales, Hasbro came to Fuzion to help rebrand this iconic game’s packaging that featured an older, boy-focused look to a more unisex design. By focusing on current trends in graphics and other unisex packaging inspiration, we designed multiple concepts to fit a larger target age group. Our final concept focused on a ”larger-than-life", blown-up, dramatic illustration of the actual product paired with an updated logo, leading to a much cleaner, modernized look appealing to a wider range of consumers.
NERF
With Nerf’s development of their new basketball-based line called Nerf Trickshot, Fuzion developed a set of edgy backboard illustrations inspired by urban graffiti and grungy illustration to appeal to the targeted age and line placement in the market.

Hasbro has provided Fuzion a number of opportunities to think creatively on an array of different brands. We have provided solutions for a wide variety of projects in all stages, from engineering through product development through branding, packaging and merchandising, as well as carrying out full concepts from ideation all the way through to packaging. We continue to work closely with Hasbro in helping them create successful and growing brands.
