What do you enjoy most about working at Fuzion?
Barking at people and then getting a snack from them.
Before working at Fuzion, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
I worked briefly as the assistant manager of a print shop at a well-known local design school. The ratio of interesting people to regular people was easily 10 to 1. Art students in particular were great fun to be around.
What is your biggest achievement to date – personal or professional?
My crowning achievement has got to be my Bacon number, 3. That is, 3 degrees of separation from the great Kevin Bacon.
If you could do another job for just one day, what would it be?
Probably cardiovascular surgeon, or one of those people who jumps from helicopters into forest fires. Something less stressful than my current gig.
What is the one thing you can’t live without?
Notes, alarms and reminders.
What’s your most memorable facepalm moment?
It’s hard to believe, given my natural machismo and ease of being, but there are in fact more than a few lamentable moments that I could recount to you. Take for instance, the ninth grade Crisco Incident. In brief, (and omitting the moments of tension leading up to it) I severely and unintentionally lacerated Mrs. Grinsell’s index finger with the peel-off aluminum lid from a newly opened industrial sized can of Crisco. Memorable? Yuh.
What do you do when you’re not at work? Tell us about any activities or hobbies you enjoy.
All kinds of awesome fun stuff.
You’re a new addition to the crayon box. What color would you be and why?
I would not be a crayon at all, if possible. I would prefer to be a 0.3 mm black technical pen. Black ink on white Bristol board is the thinking man’s crayons and newsprint.
What is your motto or personal mantra?
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you criticize them, you are a mile away from them and you have their shoes.
