Employee Spotlight: Archie

Position: Sniffer/Vacuum (Reporting directly to Justin Wilkie)

 

What do you enjoy most about working at Fuzion?

I just recently moved to Massachusetts from South Carolina, so I’ve been working and sniffing from home as of late. My new owner tells me I’m not quite ready for the office yet. I really like the taste of wires, which I’m being told is a bad habit. My previous owner didn’t care what I did or chewed on (I know right!), but I’m learning quickly. I’ve caught wind from previous dogs that there’s lots of tasty crumbs on the floor at the Fuzion office (especially around Wayne’s desk). Can’t wait!

 

Before working at Fuzion, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?

I’ve been unemployed for about 2 years now, which has been a little ‘ruff’. But I’ve finally found a good job and home.

 

What is your biggest achievement to date – personal or professional?

Recently I found a gap in the fence and escaped the backyard, which was really exciting. Although my new owner didn’t seem as excited. There’s so many telephone poles, mail boxes, and bushes in the neighborhood where I can mark my territory. It’s a dream come true.

 

If you could do another job for just one day, what would it be?

Squirrel catcher. I’d love to catch a squirrel. They look so tasty. I know I can catch one, but my new owner doesn’t trust me off the leash yet. He thinks I’m going to run away. He’s probably right.

 

What is the one thing you can’t live without?

I know some humans like a good martini or cold beer, but I like a good bone. I like the plain white ones, but those meat flavored ones are to die for.

 

What’s your most memorable facepalm moment?

This should really be ‘face-paw’ moment, but I’ll go along. I’ve never really lived inside before, so everything indoors is new to me. Let’s just say the first time I used the stairs didn’t go so well. I’ve learned quickly it’s better to take your time rather than tumble down as fast as you can. That was scary!

 

What do you do when you’re not at work? Tell us about any activities or hobbies you enjoy.

I never had a couch or bed to lay at my previous home, but I got to tell you.. these things are incredible! I could sleep on one of these all day long.

 

You’re a new addition to the crayon box. What color would you be and why?

What the heck is a crayon? Is that a dog treat? Sounds tasty.

 

What is your motto or personal mantra?

“Just chew it”
